- Technical Assistance:
During inspection inspector discussed developing an emergency plan with parents for emergency pick-up of children in the event that provider has an emergency. Also, Inspector discussed the proper documentation needed for substitute providers.
An investigation was conducted today in response to a complaint reported by another supervising agency regarding qualifications of caregivers. In addition, a 60 day inspection conducted. There was a preponderance of evidence to support the complaint. During Inspection children were observed playing freely and preparing for lunch. There were 2 children 1- child of provider present (3 points) directly supervised by provider. The home, 1staff records, 2 children?s records, 1 household member?s records, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance related to the complaint are identified in the Violation Notice. Evidence: there was no documentation available to indicate that caregiver present on 2/16/2017 had completed high school or equivalent program. Plan of Correction: Emergency Provider can't find High School diploma graduated high school 20 years ago.
