MAT will expire this year.
An unannounced inspection was conducted from 120- 220 PM. There were 10 children present with 2 caregivers for a total of 24 points. The children had finished lunch and were taken for nap. The kids sleep in one area and music was playing for the children. The children have worked on circles today and art work was also a circle activity. Children's records, menu, attendance, and evacuation drills were reviewed. Please call with questions 703-479-4679
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-730-D Description: Based on observation, the locking mechanism on a kitchen cabinet that holds medication is broken. Plan of Correction: We will replace the lock.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-A Description: Based on record review, the emergency evacuation procedures were not practiced monthly as record shows a drill was not conducted in March. Plan of Correction: I forgot to write it up-I wrote it up
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-100-A Description: Review of 4 children's files found child #3 did not have a physical record maintained in the file. Plan of Correction: I did not realize the form the parent gave me from another state did not meet the Physical examination's requirements.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-280 Description: Based on observation, the cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink is accessible to children because the locking mechanism is broken. Plan of Correction: We will replace the locks.
