**Discussed with the provider the need to create a lockdown policy and procedure that she can follow and give to the parents as soon as she is able. She stated that she would create her own lockdown policies and procedures on Friday during a training with Campagna.
An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection was conducted today from 9:10am-10:15am. There were 2 children (4 points) directly supervised by 1 staff. The home, 1 staff record, 4 children?s records, 2 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely and interacting with the provider. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized. Standard #: VENDHOM-000-029-A Description: Based on provider interview, the provider failed to ensure that there was a lockdown policy in place. Evidence: Reviewed the the provider's records and identified through her statements that there was no documentation of a lockdown procedure. Plan of Correction: I will make one.
