An unannounced inspection was conducted this afternoon from 2:00-310. The Provider has a current County Permit and the Inspector stated that once State License is issued, the Provider needs to contact the county and terminate the Permit. The Provider has been in the RN nursing program, is MAT certified and 1st Aid/CPR is current. The Provider has three infants for a total of 12 points. The Provider has started a file for an assistant but the Provider stated this person will not start until clearances are returned. Please call with questions 703-479-4679
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-960-E Description: Based on observation, the infant's bottles are not labeled and dated. The Provider has labeled baskets that hold the bottles but the individual bottles are not labeled and dated. Plan of Correction: I will label and date the bottles.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-540-B Description: Based on observation, the Provider has two walkers present for the infants and these are not permitted. Plan of Correction: I will remove these walkers today.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-690-E Description: Based on observation, the Provider does not discard diapers in a storage system that is either foot operated or used in a way that neither the caregivers hand nor the soiled diaper touches the exterior surface. The Provider has a Genie that requires her hand to lift the lid to then dispose of the dirty diaper. Plan of Correction: I will get a step on trash can.

The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.Virginia Quality is a voluntary quality rating and improvement system for early care and education facilities serving children ages birth through pre-K.
