Comments:
The licensing inspector conducted an unannounced renewal inspection on Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 3:10pm to 4:30am. The children were observed resting on cots. They were later observed eating snack, and playing with toys. Today, there were eight children, totaling 22 points, present with three caregivers. Snack consisted of: granola bars and milk. Two children?s records, three caregivers? records and one household record were reviewed during the inspection. Medication is not being administered. The center's first aid kit and emergency supplies were inspected. Last emergency drill: 4/11/2017 Last shelter-in-place drill: 1/17/2017 Emergency Plan Reviewed: 02/07/2017 The violations from the previous inspections were checked for corrections. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-530-A
Description: Based on observation on 04/13/2017, the center did not ensure that cots have linens consisting of a top cover and a bottom cover or a one-piece covering that is open on three edges. EVIDENCE: There were three children resting on cots who did not have a bottom cover.

Plan of Correction: I have sheets that I can use as bottom covers.
