Today an unannounced renewal visit was conducted with the Provider. This visit took place in the morning between 11:50-1:15there were 3 children with the Provider for a total of 9 points within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed having story-time, learning alphabets, colors, free play, lunch and nap time. Lunch is provided by the parents. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and provider records, attendance records, annual training hours, fire drill log, and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-D
Description: Based on review of the emergecy records, the provider did not have documentation of shelter in place drill twice a year. Evidence: No documentation of 2 shelter in place drills a year.

Plan of Correction: Provider stated that she will start to make sure she write down a drill two times a years.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-50-A
Description: Based on a review of the provider record, the provider did not have documentation of written record of children in attendance each day. Evidence: Upon arrival, the provider did not have the attendance record completed since 5/1/17.

Plan of Correction: Provider stated she will make sure to write the names down daily.
