Provider was informed that any new staff must complete the subsidy pre-service training.
An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted today from approximately11:30am-1:15pm. There were 2 children( 3 points) directly supervised by the provider. The home, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely and eating lunch. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Standard #: VENDHOM-000-029-B Description: Based on review of Emergency procedures plan all required components were not maintained. Evidence: during inspection provider was missing a lock-down emergency plan and plan for reunification in evacuation emergency. Plan of Correction: I will correct it.
