An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection was conducted today from 2:40pm through 4:05pm. There were five children in care with the vendor. Children present ranged in age from 11months to two years old. Total points present at the onset of the inspection equaled 14. Children were observed in provider and self-directed activities including restroom routines, hand washing and snack.
Standard #: VENDHOM-000-029-A Description: Based on interview the vendor failed to provide a written lockdown procedure as required. Evidence: The provider stated that she does not have a written lockdown procedure at this time. Plan of Correction: The vendor will create, train assistants and implement a lockdown procedure as required
Standard #: VENDHOM-000-029-B Description: Based on review of procedures and interview the vendor does not have written procedure to reunite children with a parent or authorized person designated by the parent to pick up the child. Evidence: There is not a procedure available for review during the inspection. Plan of Correction: The provider will create a reunification plan
