An unannounced SHSI inspection was conducted today. The provider and one assistant caregiver were caring for 9 children, totaling 23 points. The children were observed playing with toys and musical instruments, practicing letter recognition, singing songs, and interacting with each caregiver. The children were to be served spaghetti with meatballs, broccoli, and milk for lunch later today. This inspection was completed between approximately 10:00 am and 11:30 am. Standard #: VENDHOM-000-029-B Description: Based on a review of the emergency preparedness plan, it was determined that this plan is not complete. Evidence: The provider has not added lockdown procedures and reunification plans to the emergency preparedness plan. Plan of Correction: The plan will be updated and I will train my assistant on the new information.
