Licensing inspector arrived at 11:30 am and departed at 2:00pm to conduct a licensing inspection and a Subsidy Health and Safety inspection. At the time of the tour there was twelve children in care with 2 staff . Children were observed eating lunch, napping, freely playing and outside play. The sample size consisted of 3 children records and 2 staff records. Areas of non-compliance was reviewed with the director.
Standard #: VENDHOM-000-012-E Description: Based on interview and record review, it was determined that the vendor did not ensure that all staff providing care has current certification in CPR and First Aid. Evidence: During the inspection on June 13, 2017, staff #1 and staff #2 did not have a current CPR and First aid. Staff #1 CPR and First aid expired February 2017. Plan of Correction: Provider will schedule training with in the next 30 days.
Standard #: VENDHOM-000-029-A Description: Based on and interview and review of procedures, the vendor did not have written emergency preparedness plan that address r lock down and reunification for evacuation, shelter in place and lockdown. Evidence: During the subsidy inspection conducted on June 13, 2017, the vendor did not have lockdown procedures. The vendor did not have procedures to address reunification for evacuation , shelter in place and lockdown, and home containment procedures. Plan of Correction: The vendor will attach the addition to the emergency plan.
