Today's visit was a subsidy health and safety inspection. The inspection began at 9:40am and concluded at 1:15pm. There were seven school age children present and a total of six points. During the inspection children's activities to include games were observed, the outdoor play area was viewed, emergency supplies were viewed, four out of eleven children's records were reviewed, the licensee/vendor's record was reviewed, the assistant/adult household members record was reviewed, lunch time was observed, and some policies and procedures were reviewed to include the emergency preparedness plan. The provider stated she does not provide transportation, the program does not administer medication, and there are only two adult household members residing in the home. There were no children enrolled with diagnosed food allergies at the present time. Discussion took place regarding food allergy requirements for subsidy health and safety requirements.
