Today an unannounced monitoring visit was conducted with the Provider. This visit took place in the morning between 11:15am-1:30 there were 6 children with the Provider and 1 assistant for a total of 10 points within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed having morning outdoor free play, 10 minutes of tv time, helping to prepare lunch and nap time. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and provider records, fire drill log, menu and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-750-A Description: Based on observation of the physical plant, sunscreens were found accessible to children. Evidence: Upon arrival, sunscreens were found on top of a shelf/cubby accessible to children. Plan of Correction: Provider moved them during this inspection.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-120-B Description: Based on review of provider records, one record did not include the following information: Evidence: Upon arrival, Staff #2's record did not include verification of age, and documentation of two or more references. Plan of Correction: Verification of age was provided during this inspection, Provider will document the reference as soon as possible.
