Technical Assistance:
Online training resources provided for additional annual training for all staff. Discussion on the new background check requirements and you are reminded to use the new Sworn Disclosure form which includes an additional question about residency out of state. A review of staff qualifications was made to determine whether staff meet the requirements for substitute provider during Provider's extended absence. CPR and First Aid certification will need to be obtained prior to this staff assuming this position.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted this date. A total of 12 children (20 points). Two of the 12 children in care are the Provider's children. A total of 3 staff present today. The children were observed having lunch which was rice, chicken and watermelon. Hand washing procedures were observed after lunch. A nice transition to naptime was made. The area used for programming was evaluated and provides ample toys and equipment for the children and were determined age appropriate for the children in care currently. Background checks, TB screenings, CPR/First Aid certifications and MAT training was verified. No medications or topicals at this time. A total of 6 children's records were reviewed along with all staff and all household member files. Provider maintains organized records and the review determined that all records were complete. No food allergies at this time. This inspection began at 12pm and ended at 1:30pm. Thank you for your cooperation today. Please email at: with questions.
