Today an unannounced monitoring visit was conducted with the Provider. This visit took place in the morning between 11L15am-1pm there were 6 children with the Provider and 1 assistant for a total of 20 points within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed having morning outdoor play, playing with blocks, pushing strollers, lunch and nap time. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the physical plant, fire drill log, and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-C Description: Based on provider statement, no evacuation drills have been conducted monthly. Evidence: No monthly evacuation drills were available for review. Plan of Correction: Provider will get sample form and document monthly drills. Provider stated that no one ever told her that all of the informaton thats needed for monthly drills.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-960-E Description: Based on observation of the bottles, 2 infants were present however bottles were found not labeled with date. Evidence: Two infant bottles were found however they did not have a date. Plan of Correction: Provider stated that she will make sure that all bottles have a date.
