An annual subsidy inspection was conducted today. The subsidy requirements were reviewed this date; allergy action plans, staff trainings, nutrition and food services, recordkeeping, hazardous substances, reporting injuries, emergency plans and transportation. If any violations were cited, they were assigned a risk assessment and discussed with the provider/director. Standard #: VENDHOM-000-029-A Description: Based on a review of emergency preparedness plan, the provider has not provided procedures for a lock down event. Evidence: The emergency preparedness plan was reviewed, there is no procedures to complete a lock down drill. Plan of Correction: I will review the subsidy requirements and write a procedure for a lock down drill.
Standard #: VENDHOM-000-029-B Description: Based on a review of emergency preparedness plan, the provider has not included procedures to reunite children with a parent or authorized person designated by the parent to pick up the child. Evidence: The emergency preparedness plan does not include procedures to reunite the parents with the children. Plan of Correction: I have written the procedures during this visit.
