Comments:
An unannounced Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection was conducted today from 12:05pm-1:20pm. There were 4 children (8 points) directly supervised by 2 staff. The home, 2 staff records, 11 children?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed playing freely and watching television. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized. Standard #: VENDHOM-000-029-A
Description: Based on review, the facility failed to ensure that they had documentation of lockdown policies and procedures. Evidence: Reviewed the emergency preparedness procedures and found that they were missing documentation of a lockdown policy.

Plan of Correction: We will have it corrected by the end of this month.

Standard #: VENDHOM-000-029-B-5-F
Description: Based on review, the facility failed to ensure that they had written documentation of procedures to reunite children with parents. Evidence: Reviewed the emergency preparedness plan and found that there was no documentation of a policy to reunite children with parents.

Plan of Correction: We will have it corrected by the end of the month.
