During the inspection, the licensing inspector discussed with provider their emergency preparedness plan, the menu and attendance recording.
An annual subsidy inspection was conducted today. The subsidy requirements were reviewed including, 3 children's records, 3 caregiver/household member records, allergy action plans, staff trainings, hazardous substances, and emergency plans. Standard #: VENDHOM-000-006-B-4 Description: Based on review of records, provider did not maintain a written care plan for children with diagnosed allergy. Evidence: The record for Child A [with a diagnosed allergy to pineapple] did not include a written care plan from their physician as required. Plan of Correction: I will talk to the parents.
Standard #: VENDHOM-000-012-A Description: Based on a review of records today and staff confirmation, the provider did not meet the training requirement as a subsidy vendor. Evidence: Caregiver A did not complete the required Virginia Pre-Service Training for Child Care Staff. Plan of Correction: I will complete the training.
