Comments:
A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 9/26/2017 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 11:05am-2:30pm. There were 7 (18 points) directly supervised by 1 caregiver. A sample of 3 children's and 1 staff record were reviewed. The children were observed eating lunch, playing outside, watching television, during group play and napping. There were many age appropriate toys, books and activities available for the children. There were no food allergies at the time of inspection. Zero new staff have been hired since the last inspection. The exit interview was conducted with the provider. If you have any questions, I can be reached via e-mail at Kimberly.Sawyer@dss.virginia.gov or by phone at 571-835-0599. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements.
