A Subsidy Health and Safety monitoring inspection was conducted on 10/05/2017 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This inspection began at 9:15am and ended at 11:00am. There were 2 staff with 8 children at the time of the visit with a total of 21 points. At the start of the inspection, children were observed watching TV and playing. Children's files, emergency preparedness procedures, fire drill log were reviewed. The physical plant and playground were inspected. The caregivers do not administer medication and there were no medications on site. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Thank you for your cooperation today. Standard #: VENDHOM-000-029-A Description: Based on observation and interview, the home's emergency preparedness plan does not address all of the required readiness procedures. Evidence: Caregiver interview confirmed that the home does not currently have a lockdown procedure. Plan of Correction: I will create a lockdown plan.
