Comments:
Today an unannounced renewal visit was conducted with the Provider. This visit took place in the morning between 9:00am-11 there were no children present today the Provider stated that the child will arrive at 1pm. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children and provider records, fire drill log, menu, emergency procedures were conducted during this inspection. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-800-B
Description: Based on review of the emergency plan, the plan had not been reviewed and updated for 2017. Evidence: The emergency plan posted did not include documentation that the Provider reviewed and updated for 2016-2017.

Plan of Correction: Provider reviewed the plan during this visit and updated the plan.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A
Description: Based on review of the caregivers, one record did not include documentation of an update TB screening. Evidence: Upon arrvial, caregiver/household member #1 did not have documentation of a TB screening.

Plan of Correction: Provider stated that she had it done but left a copy at her volunteer job.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-240-A
Description: Based on observation of the physical plant, the following areas of the home were not being maintained in a clean, safe and operable condition. Evidence: Chipped/peeling paint were found in the kitchen area and nap room along the walls.'

Plan of Correction: Provider stated that she had posters on the wall that pulled the paint off.
