A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 10/16/17 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. The licensing inspection was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Today's inspection started at 12:35 p. m. and concluded at 2:00 p. m. There were no children receiving care at the time of today's inspection. There are three children enrolled in the program, but come later in the day. Three children records were reviewed. Household member records were reviewed. Child care area and upstairs bathroom was checked. Provider does not administer any medications. Conversation was held with the provider, no children in care.
Standard #: VENDHOM-000-029-B Description: Based on discussion the provider did not have all procedures in place for an emergency. Evidence: On 10/16/2017, there was no written emergency preparedness plan that addresses the caregiver's responsibility regarding lockdown. Plan of Correction: Will write up a plan for a lockdown by 10/17/17.
