An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on November 28, 2017 between the hours of approximately 2:00 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. Twelve (12) children were enrolled and ten (10) children were in the care of two/three caregivers on this date. One child's record was reviewed, four caregivers' records were reviewed and/or updated and one household member's record was updated. No medications were on site/administered on this date, as is the policy of this family day home. Facility documents and posted information were observed/reviewed. Program observation was completed. Observed activities included: naptime; infant care and departure/pick-up of two children. Adult/child interactions and daily routines/transitions were also observed. One previously cited violation (inspection date - 9/07/2017) was reviewed for compliance; no repeat violations were cited. The program was observed to be in substantial compliance with the licensing standards; no violations of standards were cited during this inspection. Room arrangement and placement of cots during naptime were discussed. Thank you for your time and assistance during this inspection.
