An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with provider and one assistant. There were 14 children present, ranging in age from 7 months to 10 years of age, totalling 31 points from 3:50 p.m. to 4:10 p.m. At 4:10, the numbers reduced to 11 children. Please make sure parents arrive on time in order to avoid going over points. During today's inspection, the children were having afternoon snack, arriving from school, and reading for homework. Other age appropriate activities were available for younger children. Five children's files were reviewed and are in compliance. Both caregiver files are complete. Provider does not administer medication - Medication Administration Training is required to administer medicine to day care children. Provider's first aid was renewed 3/25/2017 for two years. Time of today's inspection: 3:40 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Please call me if you have any questions 540-219-4122 or e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
