The following inspection took place between the hours of 10:30am am through 1:15pm. Today, I met with the Provider on site at the Family Day Home (FDH). At the start of this unannounced monitoring inspection there were a total of 4 children (10 points) with 1 caregivers. A total of 5 children's files and 4 staff/household member's files were reviewed. The children were observed engaged toy plan, while having lunch, bathroom breaks, hand washing, and other organized activities. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the violation notice. The menu posted did not list substitutions. The provider noted that [per the menu] children in care were to be served chili with kidney beans, corn bread, zucchini, tomatoes and milk; however, inspector observed children eating rice, eggs and fruit for lunch. Plan of Correction: 1. Corrected during inspection. 2. I will list any substitutions.
