An announced initial inspection was conducted today from 10:15 am-11:30 am. There were no children currently enrolled in the program. The home, the provider's record, model forms, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. The provider is not currently MAT certified to administer medications but is knowledgeable that training is required in order to administer medications to children. The home was clean and organized. Areas of non-compliance are identified in the Violation Notice. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-240-A Description: Based on observation, not all furnishings of the family day were maintained in a safe and operable condition. Evidence: The plastic lining of the crib mattress is ripped on the underneath side exposing the foam interior. Plan of Correction: I will purchase a new mattress.
