Discusses new requirements for background checks.
An unannounced monitoring/renewal inspection was conducted today from 12:05pm-1:00pm. There were 11 children(39 points) directly supervised by 4 staff. Today 4 staff records, 5 children?s records, 1 household member?s records, pet vaccinations, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today in accordance with the family day home policy. Children were observed playing freely, being held while bottle fed, and calmly transitioning to nap. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Kind and positive guidance was observed throughout the inspection. The home was clean and organized. No violations were cited during today's inspection.
