An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection (SHSI) was conducted with the provider. A licensing inspection was also conducted on this date (see separate report for details). There are currently no assistants working at the FDH. The provider has documentation of the mandatory VA Preservice Training and is currently certified in first aid and CPR (please renew 7/2018). There are no children with diagnosed food allergies currently enrolled ? please review the applicable standards regarding food allergies. The emergency preparedness plan was discussed for reunification plans, home containment procedures, and lockdown procedures. Reminder: evacuation drills are required monthly, shelter in place drills are required twice a year, and a lockdown drill is required once a year. Lockdown drills are to isolate children from a security threat; shelter in place drills are to protect children from a natural or manmade threat.
