A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 01/29/2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 12:50pm-2:20pm. There were 7 children (18 points) directly supervised by 2 caregivers. A sample of 4 children?s and 2 caregiver's records were reviewed. The children were observed during diapering procedures and napping. Zero new caregivers have been hired since the last inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. The exit interview was conducted with the provider. If you have any questions, contact Kimberly.Sawyer@dss.virginia.gov. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.
Standard #: VENDHOM-000-005-B Description: Based on record review, the written record of daily attendance was incomplete. Evidence: The attendance was missing the written record of the daily departure of children. Plan of Correction: I will add a space on the attendance to record the departure of the children.
