Comments:
An unannounced subsidy health and safety inspection was conducted with the provider and assistant beginning at 9:00 AM and ending at 10:50 AM. There were four children in care during the inspection. The children were ages 22 months, 3, 3, and 3 years old for a total of 9 points. The children were observed eating breakfast which consisted of waffles, sliced apples, and milk. The children were observed drawing and during free play. Hand washing procedures were observed. Four children?s records and three staff records were reviewed. The emergency preparedness plan and emergency drill logs were reviewed. There were no medications on site as the provider is not certified in Medication Administrative Training (MAT). The first aid kit, flashlight, and weather-band radio were observed and in compliance. The most recent emergency escape drill was documented as January 10, 2018. The most recent shelter in-place drill was documented as January 22, 2018. Description: Based on review of documentation and staff interview, the provider did not completed all emergency practice drills as required. Evidence: There was no documentation of a lock down drill being conducted by the provider.

Plan of Correction: The provider stated that she would conduct a lockdown drill.
