Comments:
Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on February 6, 2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. This on-site visit was conducted from 11:310 a.m. through 3:30 p.m. There were nine (9) children in the care of the provider and one assistant. Points totaled thirty-two (32). Five (5) children?s records were reviewed. The records for the provider, one household member and three assistants were reviewed and updated. No medication is being administered at this time. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Areas observed were: free choice activity, lunch, hand washing/diapering procedures and bathroom procedures and nap. Interactions between the staff and children were observed as positive and the children seem comfortable with the daily routine and schedule. Please contact me at (540) 430-9256 if you have any questions.
