The licensing inspector for Acorns to Oaks conducted an unannounced complaint inspection in response to a complaint that was received by the licensing office on 2/26/2018. Interviews and observations were conducted relating to the allegation of inadequate supervision. The information gathered during the investigation does not support the allegation, so the complaint is determined to be ?not valid.? The inspection was conducted between 7:45am and 8:45am. At the beginning of the inspection there were 7 children (19 points) actively supervised by the substitute provider and assistant. Children were observed eating, playing blocks, being read to. Children arriving during the inspection were warmly greeted and invited to participate in various activities. The violations cited during today's inspection are not part of the complaint. If you have any questions, contact Kara Wright at Kara.Wright@dss.virginia.gov or 703-537-6241.
