A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted from 3/12/18 to 3/13/18 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. There was 1 child in care of 1 caregiver during the inspection. The provider is current on first aid / CPR training, Preservice training and has maintained a clean and safe area for the children. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. Standard #: VENDHOM-000-029-B-5 Description: Based on record review, provider did not have a written lockdown procedures plan. Evidence: Upon review of the emergency preparedness plan, a written lockdown plan was not available. Plan of Correction: I will prepare a lockdown plan and keep with my emergency plan.
Standard #: VENDHOM-000-030-A-3 Description: Based on record review and staff interview, lockdown drills were not practiced annually. Evidence: 1. The provider stated that she had not done a lockdown drill within one year. 2. There was no documentation of a lockdown drill on the emergency drill log. Plan of Correction: I will practice and document the lockdown drill.
