63.2 Child Abuse and Neglect
An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today, 3/16/18. Upon arrival to the family day home most of the children were napping. Following nap the children had snack, hand washing was also observed. Diaper changing was also observed. Staff/HHM and five children's records were reviewed for compliance. A violation notice was completed regarding the violation found during today's inspection. There are nine children in care totaling 22 points with two caregivers present. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-460-D Description: Based on review of documentation the provider failed to have current vaccination documentation. Evidence: 1. Two of the three dogs vaccinations expired 3/9/18. Plan of Correction: The provider will schedule for the dogs to receive updated rabies vaccination.
