New background check requirements reviewed. Injury requiring outside medical attention - new on-line reporting form discussed.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted on 03/19/2018 from 12:50pm - 2:30pm. At the time of entrance there were two children in care with two caregivers. One resident child was also in care. The ages of the children counted for a total of eight points. Children were observed napping. After nap, children were observed playing with toys with the provider and assistant. Records were reviewed for the two children in care. Records were additionally reviewed for the provider, assistant and two household members. The inspector additionally reviewed - the backyard play area, written emergency procedures, the posted menu, diapering procedures, documentation of emergency practice drills and the downstairs areas of the home. *No medication is being administered at this time.
