An unannounced renewal inspection was conducted today from 9:00am-10:30am. At the time of inspection, 12 children (32 points) were directly supervised by the provider and two assistants. The sample size consisted of 5 children records and 3 caregiver records. There were no medications on site today and the provider is MAT certified. Children were observed learning about planets, engaged in activities with the caregivers, and singing songs. There was an abundant supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-210-A Description: Based on review of three caregiver records, the provider did not ensure caregivers completed a minimum of sixteen hours of annual training. Evidence: Caregiver #1 and #2 completed a total of 12 hours of annual training. Plan of Correction: We have upcoming trainings scheduled and from now on we will be completing 20 hours each calendar year.
