54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced renewal inspection was initiated today. The physical plant, 3 caregiver/household member files, 5 children's files, caregiver training, child nutrition, children's activities, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected today between 1:35-3pm. There were 7 children (plus the Provider's daughter), totaling 22 points, under the supervision of 2 caregivers. Today, the children participated in circle time, enjoyed free play, listening and danced to music and rested during naptime. The interactions between the children and caregivers were seen to be positive and constructive in nature. Today, the children were served chicken rice, leeks, carrots and milk. The Provider is currently certified in MAT (medication administration training). However, there are no children with any medication needs at this time. Should you have any questions, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
