An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. There are 13 children , including one of the provider's own, present (33 points) with 3 adult caregivers. 3 adult and 4 children's files were reviewed. See violation notice for missing items. Children were observed resting quietly during the inspection today. The first aid supplies, emergency supplies, fridge temperature, emergency escape drills and bathroom supplies are all in compliance. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-100-A Description: Based upon a review o records one child's record did not contain documentation of a completed physical, past 30 days of enrollment. Evidence: Child #1's file does not contain documentation of a completed physical. (Date of enrollment: 7/5/17) Plan of Correction: I will talk to the mother today. I know she gave it to me.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A Description: Based upon a review of records, one caregiver's record does not contain documentation of a Tuberculosis screening. Evidence: Staff A has no TB screening results on file. Plan of Correction: I will have the staff person get the screening this week.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-250-C Description: Based upon direct observation, two cribs have mobiles on them for children over 5 months of age. Evidence: Two children aged, 7 months and 8 months have mobiles on their cribs. Plan of Correction: The mobiles were removed during the inspection.
