An unannounced inspection was conducted at 930 AM. There were 12 children (12 months- 4 years) with the Provider and assistants. The total points were 30 points. The children were observed playing inside and they went outside. Hand washing and diapering were observed. The Provider had attended a food and health training this past weekend and showed the inspector all of the materials given to the Provider. Daily attendance, menu, drills, and schedule were viewed. The Provider has no one enrolled that may require medication and forms state she does not administer regular medication. Please call with questions 703-479-4679
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-C Description: Based on record review and interview, the Provider did not record two monthly evacuation drills. Evidence: 1. Records of emergency drills did not have two monthly evacuation drills this past year. The two months without fire drills had shelter-in-place drills recorded. 2. Provider said they do both and just did not record it. Plan of Correction: I will record them.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-280 Description: Based on observation, cleaning supplies located under the sink, in the kitchen, has a lock but it is broken. Plan of Correction: We will replace.
