54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 10:30am ? 12:30pm with the provider and her assistant. There were 12 children in care, ranging from eleven months to five years of age, for a total of 29 points. Children were observed playing outside with sidewalk chalk and a variety of riding toys, washing hands, and eating lunch. Lunch served today is whole wheat tortillas with cheese, broccoli, pineapple and milk. Four children's records and three caregiver records were reviewed. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A Description: Based on review of three provider records it was determined that not all Tuberculosis (TB) screenings were repeated every two years as required. Evidence: Provider B's most recent TB screening is dated 03/21/2016 and Provider C's most recent TB screening is dated 6/3/2015. Plan of Correction: They will get TB screenings as soon as possible.
