This visit took place in the morning between 9:05am-11:30pm there were 2 children within the supervision guidelines. The children were observed playing with blocks, counting, having morning nap, watching education videos, lunch and nap time. Positive interactions were observed during this inspection. A complete inspection of the physical plant, children records, fire drill log, medications and emergency procedures were observed during this inspection.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-830-C
Description: Based on documentation review, the provider did not have documentation of emergency escape drills and shelter in place drills. Evdidence: No documentation of an emergency drill for the month of April 2018.

Plan of Correction: Provider sated that she forgot and will make sure an extra drill is done in May.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-280
Description: Based on observation, potentially hazardous substances such as cleaning agents and pesticides were stored in an area that was not inaccessible to children. Evidence; A can of air freshener was found on the kitchen table accessible to children.

Plan of Correction: Provider immediately removed.

Standard #: 22VAC40-111-320-B
Description: Based on observation, the provider failed to cover all unused electrical outlets accessible to children under five years of age with child-resistant protective covers. Evidence: one electrical outlet in the kitchen was missing a protective cover.

Plan of Correction: Provider covered it immediately.
