Using your Fieldprint Code for your family day home, go online to fieldprintvirginia.com and schedule an appointment to have the electronic fingerprinting done. The locations are listed on the website. Results will be e-mailed to you. This replaces the Virginia State Police criminal history record. All caregivers and household members over the age of 18 must complete fingerprinting no later than September 30, 2018. Potential new hires must complete fingerprinting before date of hire. Background checks are now valid for five years from the original date the check was completed.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted with provider and assistant. There were eleven preschool children, ranging in age from two years to five years, totaling 19 points. The children were painting ABCs, playing outside, and having lunch. Lunch served today: pizza, corn, peaches, and milk. Two caregiver files and four children's files were reviewed and are in compliance. There are no medications on site today - provider is current in Medication Administration Training until 4/7/2019.
