54.1-3408 Provider must be MAT certified to administer prescription medication.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from 10:00am-11:00am. There were 12 children (26 points) including the providers two children directly supervised by 3 staff. The home, 3 staff records, 3 children?s records, 1 household member?s records, evacuation drills, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. There were no medications on site today. Children were observed placing soil into planters, placing seeds into the soil, completing an art project that displayed the life cycle of a chick, playing freely with manipulatives and play animals, and playing an indoor catch game. Interactions between children and teachers were observed and deemed to be positive. There was a supply of books, toys, and materials for the children. The home was clean and organized.
