Discussion of the subsidy regulations and how they apply to the Family Day Home (FDH).
A Subsidy Health and Safety Inspection (SHSI) was conducted at the Rosario Luna FDH located in Fairfax, Virginia. This inspection was conducted on 06/07/2018, between the hours of 1:30 pm through 3:30 pm to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An Unannounced Monitoring Inspection (UMI) was also conducted on this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice. If you should have any future questions, please call. Standard #: VENDHOM-000-030-A-3 Description: Based on review and interview, lockdown procedures were not practiced on an annual basis. Evidence - 1. On the date of inspection (06/07/2018), a complete drill based on the lockdown procedures for the Family Day Home (FDH) was not indicated on the posted log sheet. 2. The first SHSI inspection conducted for the FDH was 04/13/2017. 3. The Provider stated (during an interview conducted on the date of inspection) that a lockdown drill has yet to be conducted within the past year. Plan of Correction: A lockdown drill will be conducted on an annual basis.
