The freestanding second building on the property shall be locked at all times when the family day home is in operation.
An announced initial inspection was conducted today from 12:00pm-1:00pm. This was a pre-operational inspection and children were not present in the home. The home, 2 staff records, children's records model forms, 2 household member?s records, evacuation drill model forms, emergency supplies, and policies were inspected. The provider is not currently trained to administer medications and understands that she must receive training in order to administer medications. There was an abundant supply of space, books, toys, and materials for children. The home was clean and organized. All inspected areas were observed to be in compliance today.
