Licensing inspector discussed 16 hours of annual training and 2 required Shelter in place drills with provider.
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today from approximately 11:15am-12:50pm. There was only the providers child in care (0 points) directly supervised by 1 caregiver. A sample of 2 children?s records, 1 caregiver record, and 1 household member's record was reviewed. The child was observed eating lunch and playing. Zero new staff have been hired since the last inspection. Areas of non-compliance are identified in this report. The exit interview was conducted with the provider. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-760-A-1 Description: Based on observation, the first aid kit was incomplete. Evidence: The first aid kit was missing 2 of 2 required triangle bandages. Plan of Correction: I will cut my fabric to make the triangle bandages.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-60-B Description: Based on record review, children's records were incomplete. Evidence: Child A was missing 2 of 2 required emergency contacts. Plan of Correction: Parents will update forms on Monday.
