Comments:
An unannounced Renewal inspection was conducted this date. A total of 4 children with Provider were present during the inspection. A total of 10pts in care at this time. The home was updated with several new toys and equipment for the children in care. A nice transition from morning activities which consisted of playing with playdoh to morning songs. The children lined up to wash hands before lunch. No food allergies at this time. Lunch today was chicken, fresh broccoli, strawberries and milk to drink. Sanitizing of the table before and after was observed. Bathroom procedures were also observed. Walkthru of the entire home was conducted during this renewal. Observation of the backyard was made. Water table was set up for weekly water play and mango popsickles. After lunch the children transitioned to a basket of books to read while clean up from lunch was made. All children's records were reviewed (4), Provider and all household member files were reviewed. No medications at this time. This inspection began at 10am and ended at 12:15pm. Thank you for your cooperation today. Please email me at: lisa.hudson@dss.virginia.gov
