Comments:
An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted from 2:00 - 4:00pm with the provider and her two assistants. There were eight children in care, ranging from three months to eight years of age, for a total of 19 points. The children were napping upon arrival, and were observed waking, having free play with trucks, dinosaurs and trains and eating snack. Snack served today was animal crackers, strawberries and milk. Three children's records and three caregiver/household member records were reviewed and in compliance. The first aid kit was observed an in compliance. The emergency drill log was reviewed and in compliance. The provider is Medication Administration Training (MAT) certified but there was no medication on site.
