An unannounced monitoring inspection was conducted today. A total of 5 children (17pts) with provider and assistant. The children had just returned from an outdoor walk around the neighborhood and were preparing for naptime. According to the provider the children prefer to eat lunch early and nap early. Observation of the programming area was made. Walk thru of the middle level was made since two children were napping on that level. A total of 4 children's records were reviewed and found complete. All staff and household member records were reviewed. One repeat violation from the February licensing inspection was found and corrected during the inspection. All other violations found were corrected from February 2018. This inspection began at 10:30am and ended at 12:15pm. Thank you for your cooperation today. Standard #: 22VAC40-111-180-A Description: Based on household record review, a subsequent TB screening was not performed. Evidence: Household member #1's last TB screening was in May 2016. Subsequent TB screenings are required every two years. Plan of Correction: They will schedule a TB screening this week.
Standard #: 22VAC40-111-280 Description: Based on observation of the physical plant, cleaning agents were found accessible to children. Evidence: Cleaning agents were found in the unlocked cabinet under the bathroom sink and accessible to children. This is repeated from the licensing inspection in February 2018. Plan of Correction: Corrected during the inspection. Cleaning agent was secured.
