A Subsidy Health and Safety inspection was conducted on 07/30/2018 to review supplemental health and safety requirements. An unannounced renewal study was conducted today. There are 8 children present (18 points) with 3 caregivers. 3 adult and 3 children 's records were reviewed. See violation notice for missing information. One child is within 7 days of attendance for Proof of birth documentation, and within 30 days of enrollment for a physical. Children were observed playing with toys, coloring and enjoying music. Emergency escape drills, first aid supplies, emergency supplies and refrigerator temperature are all in compliance. A licensing inspection was also conducted this date; the two inspections combined cover all subsidy health and safety requirements. Only subsidy requirements that are not covered in licensing standards are reviewed during this supplemental inspection. Violations were found during the supplemental subsidy health and safety inspection requirements and are identified on the violation notice.

Description: Based upon a review of records, one assistant has not competed the Pre-service training within 90 days of employment. Evidence: Ast. A has been employed more than 90 days, and has not completed the required pre-service training.

Plan of Correction: She will complete the course.

Standard #: VENDHOM-000-029-B-5
Description: Based upon a review of records, no "Lockdown" drill was documented in the past year. The emergency plan does not include a reunification plan.

Plan of Correction: I will record the lockdown drill on the emergency record form. I will update the plan to include a reunification plan.
