Technical Assistance:
Discussed potential "foods to avoid" and "food intolerances" for children.

An unannounced monitoring inspection was initiated today. The physical plant, 3 caregiver/household member files, 5 children's files, caregiver training, child nutrition, children's activities, emergency procedures, drills and supplies were inspected on-site today between 1:20pm and 2:20pm. There were 9 children (plus the Provider's daughter), totaling 20 points, under the supervision of two caregivers. Today, the children played in the ball pit and outside, participated in circle time, listened to story time, ate lunch and rested at nap time. The interactions between the children and caregivers were seen to be positive and constructive in nature. The children were served chicken nuggets, corn, green beans, wheat roll and milk for lunch. The Provider is not currently certified in MAT (medication administration training) and there are no children with any medication needs. Should you have any questions, please contact me at

A compliance history is in no way a rating for a facility.

The online compliance history includes only information after July 1, 2003. In addition, the online compliance history includes information regarding adverse actions that may be the subject of a pending appeal. An adverse action is not final until a provider has exhausted or waived all due process rights. For compliance history prior to July 1, 2003, or information regarding the status of pending adverse actions, please contact the Licensing Inspector listed in the facility's information. The Virginia Department of Social Services (VDSS) is not responsible for any errors in or omissions from the compliance history information.

Virginia Quality is a voluntary quality rating and improvement system for early care and education facilities serving children ages birth through pre-K.
